A coating is applied after heat treating to provide anti-corrosion protection. The coating is a RoHS compliant mechanical zinc coating that offers 2000 hr to 15% red rust corrosion in salt spray testing performed to ASTMB117 specifications. Metallics offers our distributor/contractor users an alternative to the blue color of standard concrete screws. Silver color is cosmetically appealing when used with zinc plated or stainless steel brackets, electrical fixtures or conduit.
