Product Overview
3M™ wire pulling lubricant wax WLX is a thick, consistent lubricant that does not liquefy or separate with hot aging. It scoops and applies easily to wire and cable without runs or drips in hot temperatures and it will not evaporate too soon after pulls. The lubricant's low co-efficient of friction lessens the chance of wire damage from high pulling forces, wipes off the cable quickly and cleanly and leaves less residue in the conduit to block future pulls or prevent removal. Because wire pulling lubricant wax can be immersed in water for 30 min with minimal weight loss, it is also the preferred choice for wet weather applications.

For smooth, low tension wire and cable pulling applications
- It scoops and applies easily to wire and cable without runs or drips in hot temperatures and it will not evaporate too soon after pulls
- 5.3% solid residue for easier cable replacement
- This wax wipes off the cable quickly and cleanly before terminating or splicing
- Ideal for hot temperatures and wet weather applications
- Multi-use, compatible with a wide range of cable jackets and semi-conducting materials
- Less blocking, low solids content means less cable blocking
- Water-resistant, stays on cable when pulling through water-filled conduits
- All-purpose, works for low tension pulls on power, control, instrumentation and communication cables
- Lubrication - offers excellent lubrication due to the gray wax-based emulsion material
