When AC power fails, the Sure-Lites EBP automatically switches to emergency mode - providing illumination for at least 90 min. The maintenance-free and long life nickel cadmium battery generates up to 1400 lumens in emergency mode depending on model. The EBP series is UL 924 listed for field retrofit installation and is compatible with most linear fluorescent lamps and carries a five years limited warranty.
